About

Kimmy is a Southern California-based designer, heavy metal fanatic, and art enthusiast with eight years of experience in the design/manufacturing industry.  Her childhood background with competitive figure skating, fused with her love for heavy metal music, has given her a deep-rooted, unconventional design approach.  She is a Product Development major who graduated from FIDM Los Angeles in 2011, where she acquired the necessary technical skills to put her creative talents to good use.

She has quite a diverse portfolio and intends to keep learning new things every step of the way.  She’s been lucky to work for some leading action sports and licensed brands, such as ASICS, Metal Mulisha,  J!NX Clothing , Seirus Innovation, and Seven20 Life. Most of her experience comes from her days at Metal Mulisha, where she worked with a small team of insanely talented individuals and learned what she could from each and every one of them.  Her projects were a variety of both Mens’ and Jr’s accessories and apparel, including handbags, wallets, backpacks, belts, socks, headwear, sleepwear sets, wovens, and boardshorts; she also designed a variety of both men’s and Jr’s footwear, ranging from low-key EVA sandals to loud, spiked patent faux leather high heels.  Another impactful endeavor was with one of the biggest gaming apparel companies in the industry, J!NX clothing.  It was there where she designed accessories for major License partners like Blizzard, Minecraft, Rocket League, Halo, and the Witcher; these products can be found at major retailers such as Target and Hot Topic.

Aside from design work, she frequents concerts and is passionate about fitness, health, and wellness.
